Whoever wrote those lyrics is an idiot. Went for a ride on the motorcycle today up the coast here in San Diego. Sunny, probably 70F. Lots of motorcycles out, along with joggers, people with their dogs at the dog beach in Del Mar, surfers, etc.

1 ton of potatoes

 

I was at the commissary today (military grocery store) and my cashier wondered how I wound up at $550! She'd goofed ringing up my 5 lb bag of potatoes and miskeyed it, giving me 474 bags of potatoes (or well over 1 ton!).

New car

 

 

Pics of the "new" car - an 06 BMW 325i, it has a 6spd manual transmission which is fun to drive. Has 22K mi, and it's basically a bone-stock model, the only option on it is a sunroof. It has a single-CD player, AC and that's about it. Manual, fake-leather seats.
