Rare DVDs

Ever wanted some rare, obscure DVD that's not listed for sale on Amazon or at Best Buy?
How about "DVD On Demand" from Warner? Very cool stuff

Sissification isn't limited to the US

Oh no...the Aussies are pretty good at it, too. Like this school sports association banning oranges at half-time because the acid rots their teeth. No, really, they did!

The AIG bonuses and the Congress

Congress has absolutely NO CREDIBILITY when it comes to the AIG bonus issue. Chris Dodd put in an amendment that protected the AIG bonuses into the bailout bill....which Obama signed.

Don't forget to note that Dodd was the #1 recipient of donations from AIG employees. Guess who was #2? Obama. McCain and Hillary are also in the top 6.

So, fuck the Congress and Obama and their fake outrage at the bonuses. They're the bastards that approved them in the first place.

Obama and veteran healthcare

What better way to pay for healthcare for vets who have service-connected disability/injuries than make private insurers pay for it?

Thanks, Obama!

Buying a house vs buying a car

Unless you're buying a Bugatti Veyron, a house is probably the most expensive purchase you're likely to make. And, you're likely have it many more years than a car. When you're car shopping, you check out lots of models and actually test drive them. Some places let you keep the car for a few days and if you don't like it, they'll actually take it back. But a house? You tour it for maybe 10 or 15 minutes, max. Sure, you spend some time checking the schools (if applicable) and the neighborhood, etc. but really...maybe a half hour? Granted, it's difficult to "test drive" a house when people are living in it...but it's just crazy to think about, isn't it?
