Rain squall yesterday

These 2 pictures were taken yeseterday around 4:30-5pm of a rain squall here in San Diego. The first was taken a little bit earlier than the second. The bright orange column is the rain coming down with the sun (as it's going down) reflecting thru the rain.
The second pic is effectively the same thing.
