Well, not a reason to not have kids, but a reason to not take them to the doctor. That's terrible. Pediatricians should not be asking those questions unless there is an obvious reason to suspect there is something wrong going on. And why would gun ownership even be an issue (and this is not to be pro or anti guns statement)? I can't imagine our doctor would have ever asked such things. I'd have changed doctors too.
