What's next, book burnings? It's insanity like this that will cost the Republicans the election in 06 and 2008. The more mainstream people that vote Republican for a variety of reasons won't want to keep assholes like this in power.

You know, the more I read and hear, the more the Republican Party resembles the Islamic Fundamentalists they pretend to decry. Is there only one way to live, one set of morals and values that are allowed now in America? I thought we valued diversity and respected the rights of people to hold differing values and not trample on me just because I disagree with your religious view of the world. Gee, are we Saudi Arabia now with the religious police?
