The Soviets come to San Diego

A cold war-era Soviet Foxtrot class submarine has found its way to the San Diego Maritime museum. It'll be open Memorial Day weekend. Story here

Does that ever sound cool. I'm impressed that there is a former Foxtrot captain living in LB that they hope to use to translate the logs. Nifty that they even have the logs. I was surprised that it could go down to 985 ft. That seems awfully deep for that type of sub.

You gonna go see it? Have you toured the Midway?

Yah, it's very cool that they have the logs. I'll go see it when it opens. Haven't seen the Midway, planning to do it soon.
