Isn't this all pathetic? Even I see it and I don't have kids of college age. I can just imagine what my sons would have done if we parents tried to helicopter them...it would have been bloody. We thought the goal of parenthood was to raise bright, INDEPENDENT, rational children. Guess the object now is to make sure the kids are not independent and they can't be rational if they've never had to think or make a choice. Very sad.
