Allergies, asthma & stuff
I came up on my own (so I thought, anyway) with a theory about allergies like peanuts & stuff. My theory was that more kids are developing allergies to peanuts because their bodies aren't developing the allergens that lots of adults have because of a super-clean environment. No dust in the house, no pets, bla bla. Turns out I wasn't wrong.

Andy, you and I are definitely on the same wave-length. When you and Chris were young you were rarely sick and didn't have the ear infections all the other kids seem to have. And our home was a not environmentally correct even for the early 70's: cigarette smoke, far from immaculate in the cleaning dept., cats, dogs. But the homes where they were environmentally PC were where the kids were sick all the time.
Even now I see with my boss. His wife is one who is a cleanliness freak and disinfects everything all the time. They are also sick a lot.
We certainly didn't restrict your peanut intake and I know I ate them a lot when I was pregnant with both of you.
Guess science is catching up with what you, Dad and I already knew.
