I'd originally heard that the lawyer hadn't followed protocol by letting Cheney know he (the lawyer) had moved from his original spot. However, Good Morning America said they'd talked to a lot of bird/quail hunters and no one has ever heard of such a protocol. It is the SHOOTER's responsibility to make sure he's shooting at birds NOT people. Guess Cheney didn't bother with that.
But then again, he thinks he's above the law anyway. If it turns out that he was telling Scooter Libby to leak secret stuff, the pundits say Cheney should be out of office sooner than we can say "good riddance."
