The Jetblue aircrew definitely showed the value of training, rehearsal and simulator time. Airline pilots practice stuff like this all of the time and the landing today (except for the broken front landing gear that burned up) looked for all the world to be just another landing.

That crew definitely needs to get commendations for the handling of the situation. Now I hear that the passengers were watching it all on TV - how weird is that?
