Remember the Eastland!

On July 24, 1915, the SS Eastland capsized in the Chicago River, taking over 800 lives. In terms of passenger deaths, it's one of the worst shipping disasters (many of the casualties on the Titanic were crew). The Eastland Disaster Society has more info.
